Bayside Academy

Special Educational Needs and our Local Offer

At Bayside Academy our aim is to ensure every pupil has the opportunity to achieve his or her best. We do this by always placing our school’s mantra at the forefront of everything we do: ‘High Expectations Lead to High Achievers.’

Some children have a Special Educational Need or disability which means that they require educational provision which is different or additional to the provision that meets the needs of the majority of children.

We are committed to providing an inclusive curriculum to ensure the best possible progress for all our pupils whatever their needs or abilities. Information regarding our approach to ensuring that the needs of all children are met is detailed in our SEND Policy.

If you wish to discuss any matter relating to SEND please contact Mrs Hanney, our SENDCo at the school.

Appointments can be made by phoning the School Office 01202 685459.
